How to get to the Antequera Dolmens?

Wherever you're coming from, we'll help you find your way to the Antequera Dolmens.

\n

The first thing you need to know is that the Antequera Dolmens Archaeological Site consists of three megaliths. Many people refer to them as "caves" and believe them to be located in El Torcal. However, the dolmens are actually located near the town of Antequera in two different areas. For more information, visit the official Dolmens website here.

\n

The Menga and Viera Dolmens are located next to the Visitor Reception Center, and the Romeral Dolmen is located about 4 kilometers away, very close to the Mercadona logistics center.

\n

Let's take it step by step! First, we'll explain how to get to the Visitor Reception Center. There you can watch an audiovisual presentation on the construction of Menga (if you're coming in a group, it's advisable to book in advance), ask for information, use the restroom, or buy a souvenir. Guided tours of the dolmens are also organized from the Archaeological Site, and the Reception Center is the meeting point. Please note that the dolmens are closed on Mondays.
